On our way to Singapore

So our adventure began as we left home with out a moment to spare. We loaded everything up and made it through security on on the the plane and then we waited and waited. A storm passed by the East coast and grounded all planes for 2 hours. By the time we were able to take off we missed our connecting flight. We decided to stay in the Hyatt hotel. The kids think it is our hotel ;>

So here we are just a little bit tired.
We left the hotel Sunday morning to continue on to San Francisco. On our way out we knelt for family prayer. The porter was there at our room to help us with our bags so Alan invited him to join us for family prayer. Why not he said. As we left the hotel he ask " Do you mind if I ask you a question? Are you LDS? " We said we were and he told us that he is LDS also. He thanked us for inviting him to pray with us saying it had been a long night and he was grateful to join us in prayer.

  1. Glad to see you made it safely to San Francisco!! That place looks like a great place to burn some energy off before your 19 hour flight to Singapore! What great memories your kids are going to have during this trip!!! Look forward to reading more about it!
